Dreams named one of Britain's top growth companies

Dreams has been named in an influential league table of the private mid-market growth companies in Britain with the biggest sales.

The 2016 Sunday Times Top Track 250 ranked Dreams 95th, marking the first time that the bed specialist has entered the league table, joining other high-profile brands including Barbour, Dr Martens and Wagamama.

The inclusion of Dreams in the table follows a strong year of growth by the business. Revenue in 2015 increased 16% to £234.2m, driven by an increase in LFL sales of 19.4% and deliveries to half a million homes. A three-year turnaround plan launched in 2014 has seen every Dreams store refurbished and every home delivery van replaced.

The company has also made significant investments into its purpose-built 130,000 sqft bed factory in Oldbury, West Midlands. The factory makes over 10,000 beds a week, which are distributed all over the country.

Mike Logue, CEO, says: “We’re delighted to have been recognised by the Sunday Times and Grant Thornton as one of the UK’s leading growth companies in the mid-market. It is testament of the hard work of our outstanding team of colleagues and our strategy to invest in our people, products and systems."
