Barking-based bedroom cabinet manufacturer One-Call Furniture has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Paul James as director of sales and marketing.
Paul, previously sales and operations director at Origin Red Furniture - and working for Ruddiman Furniture before that - brings 25 years of furniture experience to One-Call Furniture, which recently invested £2.5m in machinery supplied by Germany’s Homag Group and increased its manufacturing site by 20,000 sqft.
Paul says: “I am extremely pleased to be joining One-Call Furniture. Working with a team who are forward thinking is extremely important to me, and on hearing of the ambitious plans for the future, I was very keen to join the existing management team to help bring the excellent product range and swift delivery service to a greater audience.”
The recent investment made by One-Call Furniture in machinery and factory space allows greater flexibility to produce unique pieces, offering customers a bespoke range of furniture as well as existing bedroom cabinet ranges.
