Furniture Village has opened a new store in Northampton, the retailer's 42nd UK store. It is located in the Riverside Retail Park, just off the A45 motorway. Taking over the former Carpetright store and situated on the retail park’s first terrace, alongside Next, the new Furniture Village branch covers more than 25,960 sqft across two floors.
As one of Furniture Village’s larger stores, the Northampton branch offers numerous upholstery collections, including leading brands such as Duresta, Natuzzi, Tetrad, G Plan and Calligaris, and a large selection of dining ranges from high-quality suppliers including ercol and Willis & Gambier. Furniture Village was recently awarded the title of Multiple Bed Retailer Of The Year 2014/15 by the NBF, and, accordingly, the new store will offer a wide range of bed brands from international and national bed manufacturers including Tempur, Hypnos, Vi-Spring and Sealy.
The Northampton store opening is part of Furniture Village’s national expansion following the investment from the Business Growth Fund (BGF) last year.
