Mammoth appoints Dr Glen Kemp as consultant

Mammoth Technologies’ team of leading industry professionals has been boosted with the appointment of consultant Dr Glen Kemp – director of Dream Laboratory, an international healthcare consultancy, and bio/medtech innovation expert.

Glen has over 25 years’ experience working in the field of healthcare and life sciences, including 14 years leading product and process development teams with global R&D company Merck Millipore. He will be supporting Mammoth with the research and development of its products.

Glen says: “Many studies over the years have shown how important a good night’s sleep is to health, and paramount to that is a good bed. There are so many elements to what makes the perfect mattress and I’m delighted to be utilising my skills to help Mammoth evolve its products to achieve this. The company is incredibly determined when it comes to innovation – it’s challenging but very exciting.”

Mammoth MD John Tuton says: “We’re delighted to have Dr Kemp on board - his knowledge, experience and expertise will further enhance our products and our position as highly qualified technologists and industry leaders.”

Mammoth Technologies now enjoys affiliations with other leading health, educational and sporting authorities that include the University of Northumbria Sleep Science Centre, The Newcastle University school of Bio-Sciences, the British Athletes Association, the English and Irish Rugby Players Associations and the UK Chiropractic Patients Association to name a few.

Mammoth mattresses are made with exclusive to Mammoth medical grade foam and are Class 1 registered medical devices with the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority (MHRA). They are British-made with all manufacturing facilities based in the UK and the brand can now be found in stores ranging from Selfridges to AHF, to Furniture Village and a number of leading independent retailers.
