According to Sky News, Alan Smith, former chief executive of Somerfield, will lead a £70m flotation of retailer ScS later this month.
Sky reports that the retailer is expected to raise tens of millions of pounds as part of the IPO.
The sofa and carpet specialist operates nearly 100 stores across the UK.
