Duresta celebrates with John Lewis for 150th anniversary

As part of John Lewis’s 150th anniversary celebrations, a Duresta master craftsman will upholster a chair live at John Lewis’s Oxford Street store on Saturday 3rd May. The upholstered chair will be raffled off at the Oxford Street store on the day.

All Duresta products are handmade by the manufacturing firm’s master craftspeople at the factory in Long Eaton, and being able to watch an upholsterer at work is an incredible experience that few people have the opportunity to experience.

Additionally, to celebrate John Lewis’s 150th anniversary, new fabrics and products are being added to their exclusive range of Duresta products available at the popular British retailer. These will be launched throughout the year.

Clive Kenyon-Brown, CEO of Duresta, says: “It’s a privilege to be part of the John Lewis anniversary celebrations. One of the many reasons for the British retailer’s continued success is that so many of the values that John Lewis was founded on still ring true today. Its commitment to sourcing the very best products and supporting British manufacturers has led to the creation of product ranges that continue to excite and surprise customers. Like John Lewis, we believe in supporting our highly trained staff to deliver the best products and experiences for our customers.”
