The event was the first to be organised by the newly formed Northern Region Fund Raising Committee, chaired by Karen Fairhurst of Panaz and supported by the Furniture Makers’ Company north-west fundraising coordinator, Louise Hicks.

Co-organiser Victor Giannandrea says: “It was a fantastic day. The sun shone, the location and venue were fabulous, the instructors patient and helpful, the food great. Everyone had a fabulous time and best of all we raised a fantastic sum of money for the charity. This event was all about tapping into support from northern- based manufacturers, suppliers and retailers in our industry who can’t always support events held in London and the south. And it’s great to see that’s what happened.”

Next up for the Northern Region is the Northern Golf Day on 16th May at Preston Golf Club.
