The Sleep Council is urging UK bed retailers to make the most of National Bed Month in March, and is giving them the tools to do so. Bed retailers are being encouraged to download, free, the new National Bed Month artwork for use in their sales and marketing campaigns in the lead-up to the annual promotional campaign.
Available from the retailer-dedicated website, the new toolkit includes a new logo, animated banner, and window and poster/flier artwork. Over the coming weeks, The Sleep Council’s retailer-specific e-newsletter, Sleep Biz Update, will focus on National Bed Month, offering tips and advice on how best to take advantage of the sales opportunities.
“We are urging all retailers to get behind this annual promotion, which has been running for more than 20 years. It’s a great opportunity to promote the importance of a good, comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep,” says Lisa Artis, spokesperson for The Sleep Council. The work The Sleep Council is doing to help bed retailers goes hand-in-hand with its consumer campaign activity, which is focused on educating the consumer in the importance of a good bed, regularly replaced.
