New hubs to enhance Bed Show experience

The launch of new feature areas are set to brighten this year’s Bed Show, organised by the National Bed Federation (NBF).

As the UK’s number one bed event, with some of the biggest and best names in the industry exhibiting, the 2018 Bed Show will run across two days – 18th and 19th September – at Telford International Centre.

Visitors have plenty to look forward to, including the latest products and new collections from key bed suppliers, as well as the chance to experience the new Business, Knowledge and Services hubs.

Highlighting the growing demand for industry information, the Knowledge Hub will feature short, silent presentations (employing wireless headphones) throughout each day, covering a range of topics. A coffee point will sit alongside to give people the chance to have a quick refreshment break while listening to topical talks or watching videos.

Meanwhile, the Services Hub will host guest service exhibitors, while the three Business Hubs, dotted around the three halls, will offer a welcome retreat for visitors wishing to recharge phones and tablets, work on laptops or hold small meetings.

“We can’t believe we are celebrating our ninth Bed Show,” says Jessica Alexander, executive director of the NBF. “What’s encouraging to hear is that we’re still doing things right. Our halls are, once again, jam packed, and visitors are already expressing their interest in what’s going to be on display.

“We hope that our new feature areas will intrigue visitors, and even some of our exhibitors, to delve into industry-related topics such as recycling, the NBF Approved scheme, etc, that will help them to do business better.”
