The 24th China International Furniture Expo (Furniture China) will take place from from 11-14th September 2018 at SNIEC in Pudong, Shanghai.

As well as one of the world's largest collections of internationally-focused brands, Furniture China will offer various specific shows.

Three halls – E5, E6 and E7 – will be dedicated to design-led furniture and original designs, plus fresh creative ideas will come into them. To facilitate this, there will be a rearrangement of hall E5, as part of the 'table & chair designingbrands' showcase moves into hall E4, and more original design brands and new brands enter hall E5.

With a focus on high-end manufacturing across the industrial process, machinery and components show FMC China aims to offer visiting manufacturers full solutions. In addition, many well-known timber associations will come together to put their latest materials and technologies on show.

Furniture China will also keep an eye on developing trends. Last year, the 'Color of Furniture China' project was launched, in hall E8B. In 2018, the hosts will continue its partnership with Professor Jean-Philippe Lenclos and Professor Song Jianming, director of the China Academy of Art, to launch China’s new furniture design colour trends, with a look at what is impacting the domestic furniture industry.

In the following three to five years, Furniture China aims to introduce more high quality activities, forums and exhibitions, around the topic of colour.

Finally, as a sister event held concurrently with Furniture China, Maison Shanghai will take place over a larger space at the SWEECC venue, while offering visitors an enjoyable and engaging experience.
