The Irish Furniture and Homewares Show

The Irish Furniture and Homewares Show (IFHS) is packed full, with over 85 exhibitors ready to present their furniture and homewares to over 1000 expected Irish trade buyers, in what promises to be the biggest and best edition yet – taking place at Dublin's National Show Centre from 18th-21st August.

IFHS is a successful, Irish-led furniture tradeshow for the Irish market - the only one of its kind in Ireland, and attended by many of the country’s top furniture suppliers and businesses.

Now in its fifth year, IFHS has grown steadily since its inception. Originally conceived from a need to boost Ireland’s furniture industry, the exhibition quickly became an essential trade show for the national market.

“The philosophy behind IFHS is that people do business with people, and that continues to be its driving force today,” says IFHS’ marketing manager, Enda Moran. “It is this philosophy – along with our targeted marketing efforts – that bring the right people together, ensuring good business is done, year after year.”

IFHS presents major suppliers of upholstery, dining, bedding, cabinet and accessories, reflecting both manufacturers and distributors.

“Backed up by a targeted database, the show brings furniture industry peers together each year to get an in-depth view of what’s available in the furniture and furnishings industry, and to plan and place orders for the year ahead,” says Enda.

In 2016, the show saw the launch of the Irish Furniture and Home Awards, giving industry suppliers an opportunity to promote their best products, and reflecting the innovation and efforts taking place in the Irish market – the winners of this year’s edition will be announced at the show.

With over 90% of an expanded exhibition area already full, plus a dedicated services hub launched in response to growing interest from trade services providers, this year’s IFHS is set to deliver valuable opportunities to visitors from Ireland and further afield.
