The range of furnishing and upholstery fabrics will be bigger than ever at Heimtextil, the world’s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles, which has seen a strong increase in the number of first-class suppliers in this sector.
Heimtextil, which takes place from 9-12th January at Messe Frankfurt, Germany, is further expanding its leading position as the home textile industry’s key international meeting place.
The upcoming edition of Heimtextil will present upholstery and decorative fabrics on five hall levels – 3.0, 3.1, 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2.
The newly-added 4.2 will expand the range of products and services on offer in this segment from 2018. The decorative and upholstery fabrics in this hall will offer individual solutions for architects and interior designers.
As part of the new Interior.Architecture.Hospitality Expo, trade visitors from the contract sector can expect to see functional solutions for the interior decoration sector, such as textiles with acoustic functions or special abrasion-related properties. The expo will invite visitors to take part in guided tours and lectures within the hall.
Another promising highlight awaits in hall 6.0 – the trend Theme Park. This inspirational area will reveal how urban life is set to impact the worlds of living and working in the future.
This edition's Theme Park has been created by London design studio FranklinTill, which has published its predictions for the future of interior design in the Heimtextil Trendbook, offering textile manufacturers, designers, fitters and furnishers a valuable overview of trailblazing design developments. The Theme Park itself will be full of engaging experiences, plus a gallery of colour trends featuring samples from Heimtextil’s exhibitors.
