Held biannually in Guangzhou, China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) features an array of exhibits covering furniture and furnishing products. From 2014, two phases of CIFF March will be extended from four days to five days respectively, to offer global exhibitors and visitors more time and business opportunities.
The first phase is to be held on 18th-22nd March under the themes of Home Furniture, Outdoor & Leisure, Homedecor & Housewares, and Hometextile, while the second phase is to be held on 28th March-1st April under the themes of Office Furniture, Commercial Furniture, Hotel Furniture, and Furniture Machinery & Furniture Raw Materials. The exhibition in September is to be adjusted to 5-8th September under the same themes as CIFF March’s first phase.
International Hall expands further
Halls 1.1 and 2.1 in Area A of the Home Modern Furniture section will be a specialised exhibition zone for big international brands only, with the area growing to 20,000m². Some of the world’s top luxury brands, including Cavalli and Slumberland, will be joined by international names such as Ashley and Tempur with brand new product ranges.
Design Hall and Sleep Centre
Within the Design Hall, a collection of furniture suppliers renowned for their innovative approach to home furniture will be located in Hall 3.1. Meanwhile, the Upholstered Furniture Sector will feature an exhibition zone of mattresses and soft beds for the first time in Hall 12.2, Area B.
Continued development of children’s and custom furniture
The Kids & Teen Furniture and Custom Furniture zones will be further developed in 2014. Renowned brands such as Hengda, XMB, Hulubao, Flexa and Tomy Niki will feature in the Kids & Teen section in Hall 5.1, while brands such as Wayes, Shangpinzhaipei and Oodlife will display their brand new ranges at the Custom Furniture Zone of Hall 5.2, providing this growing market with more product options and service solutions.
Leading brands support CIFF
The 33rd CIFF has maintained strong support from high quality furniture suppliers, including modern furniture brands such as, Landbond, Hinglee and Kinetic, as well as classical furniture brands such as Fourseas, Fairmont, Alexandre and Art.
Classical Furniture zone developed
The Classical Furniture zone of CIFF features high-end, luxury products. Following the European, American, Neoclassical, Neoclassical Chinese style and Rosewood Furniture designs that debuted last year, this section has received a great deal of attention and recognition from the market. In March 2014, Italian classical furniture brand will integrate artistic references within their designs, while the fresh and elegant neoclassical furniture products will be aimed at the emerging market for the post-80s and 90's generations.
