In January, Associated Independent Stores (AIS) will once again extend a warm welcome to its major Furniture Show to retailers who are not AIS buying group members. This has proved a success for the past two years and has now become an established, must-attend event in the show calendar.
The first two days of the AIS event – 17th and 18th January – will remain exclusive to AIS members, with a further three days open to the whole trade, running concurrently with Interiors UK at the NEC. The proximity of the AIS show at Cranmore Park in Solihull to the NEC makes it very easy to take in both shows.
The show will present exhibitors from AIS’s portfolio of suppliers – all of whom can only be seen at Cranmore Park. AIS furniture controller, Suzy McMahon, says: “In addition to the attractions of the Cranmore Park setting, those exhibiting are not at the NEC, so if retailers that aren’t members of AIS want to see their new ranges in January, then they need to make time to visit The Furniture Show at AIS.”
An impressive variety of manufacturers will exhibit across the whole of the extended ground floor AIS showroom area. This friendly buying environment gives visitors a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere conducive to making buying and ranging decisions. The Furniture Show also provides free on-site parking, refreshments and a complimentary lunch for all pre-registered guests.
Returning again are major brands such as Tetrad, Himolla, Nathan and Sutcliffe, accompanied by many other established names such as Wade, Actona, Whitemeadow and Marinelli. Added into the mix are fashionable brands including MWA, O&G, Domitalia Spa and Habufa. “Buyers will find a good mix of contemporary, transitional and traditional product ranges that can only be seen here,” adds Suzy.
Cranmore Park can be found just off the M42 within a few minutes of Birmingham International rail and air links. Such ease of access together with plenty of close free parking makes The Furniture Show an ideal start or end to the day.
