New London store for Yves Delorme

Yves Delorme will be opening a new flagship store, along with the relocation of the Monogrammed Linen Shop, at 158 Walton Street, London, SW3. This unique street in South West London offers shoppers plenty of variety and individuality, from luxury bedlinen and interior designers to art galleries and high-end fashion brands.

The new store will open at the end of March, offering over two floors of luxury bedlinen and homeware – the new Spring/Summer 2017 collection, Yves Delorme Couture, Monogramming, Laurence Tavernier nightwear, Iosis cushions and Brinkhaus bedding. Not forgetting the signature MLS monogrammed gifts, accessories, silk nightwear and quirky homeware goods that the company has become renowned for.

The Walton Street store will be the second location in London after Harrods, offering the Yves Delorme Couture range. After opening stores in Paris, Monaco, Geneva and more recently New York, London was the next obvious location. This bespoke service offers clients and interior designers the freedom to tailor seven luxurious designs to their own personal requirements. The Couture range will be on display in the spectacular double height lower ground floor, where customers can select from a variety of colours, fabrics, embroideries and sizes.

Richard Boyle, CEO of The French Linen Company, comments: “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be combining Yves Delorme, Yves Delorme Couture and the Monogrammed Linen Shop in one luxurious location.”

The store benefits from plenty of natural daylight, with a double height lower ground floor offering an additional area for client meetings, Yves Delorme events, changing room facilities and a sumptuous seating area, designed by Jérôme Delmas, architect and art designer at Yves Delorme Couture.

Jérôme says: “Creating and designing this store was a fascinating adventure. Mixing the MLS spirit from Anne Singer with its British touch to inspire the store with serenity and modernity in such an amazing city! This store is an ambitious space to show Yves Delorme's know-how, hand-made, tailor-made, monogramming and bespoke opportunities.”

The interior of the store will feature Yves Delorme’s new signature style, combining contemporary walnut and cherry wood, encompassing subtle lighting, brushed chrome details and a fresh off-white backdrop, giving each bedroom vignette its own opportunity to stand out.

"With the new store, we really wanted to create a space which equally focuses on the customer experience as well as the aesthetics, while showcasing the brand and products in an exciting way", says Richard Boyle.

Anne Singer, founder of the Monogrammed Linen Shop, says: “It’s great to see the synergy which exists between all the brands being housed under one roof. It gives me great pleasure to see that it will be part of this extended offering of bespoke linens, hand-embroideries and monograms, it will undoubtedly become the "Mecca " for interior designers as well as customers of refined and luxury interiors.”
