Sofa retailer injects new life into Crawley County Mall Shopping Centre

The empty space left in the Crawley County Mall Shopping Centre when Cargo disappeared from the high street has been filled with a brand bringing stylish, affordable sofas to the market. Furniture4u has launched its pop up store in the shopping centre, giving shoppers a chance to purchase high-quality pieces.

The closure of Cargo gave the team at Furniture4u an opportunity to take the unit on a short-term basis, an ideal fit for the company's unique business model. The brand offers sofas in a range of finishes, styles, and colours directly to consumers, giving them the chance to try out Furniture4u's growing brand. The pop up store will only remain in the shopping centre until early 2017.

Louis Rose, MD of Furniture4u, says: "From launching just 4 years ago to where we are now has been quite the achievement. We know how inconvenient it can be to traipse out to a retail park or try to figure out the quality of furniture online, but our customers don't need to find us because we find them with our pop up stores across the country. Crawley residents can now come and visit us for a limited time only and see our range, from comfy armchairs to spacious corner sofas, for themselves."

Furniture4u launched in 2012 with a unique concept of combining the digital age with pop up stores, delivering a boost to high streets that are increasingly filled with vacant spaces. The business model means that the brand, which combines style and function across the whole of its range, can reach as many homeowners as possible across the UK. Shoppers can choose from a range of materials, from leather to velvet, giving them the flexibility to pick out the perfect seating option for their space, in a palette of neutral colours that will complement any room.
