CSIL seminar to investigate Asian industry growth

Italian furniture market researcher CSIL, together with CIFF and Edimotion, will present the second Chinese edition of the Global Furniture Outlook Seminar at CIFF Shanghai this month.

Covering market forecasts and comments on the fundamentals regarding furniture production and trade worldwide, the seminar will focus on Asia's role in the worldwide furniture market.

According to CSIL, the world furniture market was worth US$455b last year (at producer prices), and consumption is set to grow by more than 3% (in real terms) by the end of 2015. The outlook is for stability in Western Europe, moderate growth in North America and
fast growth in many emerging market economies, particularly Asia.

Findings will be discussed by selected keynote speakers presenting market insights and trends in Asia and North America.

The seminar will take place in meeting room M2‐04 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai, from 2-5.30pm on 10th September.
