Decorex announces patrons panel

Decorex International has announced its patrons for 2015. Four leading names from the world of design and the arts have joined its inaugural patrons panel, which it is launching for this year’s show. The theme for 2015 is the future of luxury, and Decorex will be working with each patron to explore this in a variety of ways.

Acting as ambassadors for the show will be: Libby Sellers – gallerist and design historian and former senior curator of the Design Museum London; architect and designer, Nigel Coates – board member of Trustees of The Architecture Foundation and associate director for INSIDE festival; celebrated interior designer, Guy Goodfellow – renowned for his elegant and grand interior projects, and Lucia van der Post – writer, journalist and associate editor of the Financial Times How To Spend It magazine.

Libby will be chairing an insightful panel discussion around this year’s show theme, the future of luxury, while Guy will also be presenting a talk about his recent project, the infamous country house, Garsington Manor. For press and VIPs, both Lucia and Nigel will be hosting curated tours, highlighting must-see stands at the show.

Nigel Coates says: “Having watched and worked with Decorex over the past few years, I’m convinced it is the must show for anyone involved in interiors at the top end. Encyclopedic in its quality and scope, the show is a unique resource. That’s why everyone goes. This year I’ve been asked to be a patron of the show and no doubt will enjoy fulfilling my role.”

Guy Goodfellow says: “Having attended Decorex for a number of years, I was delighted to be one of its patrons for this year’s show. Each year, I come away from Decorex with a wealth of inspiration - not surprising given the array of design companies launching new collections under one roof. It has become a show of international standing and a vital date in the diary.”
