Straiton Retail Park continues to reposition itself with new retailer signings

The Peel Group, a leading infrastructure, transport and real estate investment company in the UK has secured signings from retailer giants Arcadia, Nandos and Sofaworks at the Straiton retail park.

The Sofaworks store has been developed as part of the Gateway Development, taking space in a new building, covering 17,000 sq ft across two floors. The design of the Sofaworks store adopts a unique concept, in line with Peel’s continued focus on design and the retail environment.

Kevin Keigher, Asset & Development manager from the Peel Group, says: “The continued investment in Straiton Retail Park has enabled us to deliver three exceptional additions to the already-strong tenant mix. We will continue to improve and invest in Straiton in order to meet customer demand as we reposition the scheme as a modern shopping park. Each of these retailers plays a key part in the ongoing strategy for Straiton, encompassing all elements of the retail mix.”

Peel Retail Parks has invested heavily in Straiton Retail Park, refurbishing over 125,000 sq ft, including new store fronts throughout the site.
